We apologize for not providing accommodation due to limited guest house availability. Please explore the options below to plan your stay.
Important Notice
The Conference Organizing Team does not provide or arrange accommodation for participants. Registered candidates who wish to stay at IIT Madras Hostel must independently apply for temporary guest accommodation, subject to hostel availability.
Students can arrange their accommodation in the hostels following the SOP mentioned below. Participants may also explore hotel options near the campus.

IIT Madras Hostel provides accommodation space only. The following items are not included and may need to be rented separately through an external agency (recommended by CCW Office):
Associated rental charges, if any, must be borne by the participant.

Located adjacent to the IIT Madras campus, this is one of the most convenient options for conference participants.

Early Booking Advisory
Participants are strongly encouraged to make their accommodation arrangements well in advance to avoid last-minute availability constraints. Due to high demand and limited room availability, early booking is recommended.
Vehicle Entry Rules
IIT Madras has strict security protocols for vehicle entry. Please set your destination carefully based on your mode of transport.
Main Gate
Allows ALL vehicles (Cabs, Autos, Cars, Two-Wheelers). Entry to ICSR building via cab is only possible through this gate.
Taramani & Velachery Gates
Strictly restricted to Two-Wheelers and Pedestrians ONLY. Cabs and Autos will drop you at the gate.
Internal Eco-Transit
IIT Madras operates a free fleet of eco-friendly Electric Buses.
Pro Tip: Pay attention to the destination board on the e-bus:
• "Hostel" board: Heading into the campus.
• "Main Gate" board: Heading towards the exit.
Always ask to get down at the ICSR stop.
The institute bus service operates from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM with a frequency of every 15 minutes.

Fair Pricing Alert
First time in Chennai? Do not take direct street-hail autos/cabs. Use apps like Uber, Ola, or Rapido to avoid overcharging (rates can be 2-3x higher otherwise).

Wildlife Interaction Protocol
The IIT Madras ecosystem is a protected forest area containing deers and monkeys. To ensure your safety and the well-being of the animals, please adhere to the following:

Do not attempt to feed any wildlife. It disrupts their natural diet and behavior.
Personal Safety
Avoid carrying open food or water bottles in your hands. Monkeys are quick and may attempt to take them away.
